Cafe OTO opened in April 2008 with the aim of providing a home for creative new music that exists outside of the mainstream Past performers include: The Sun Ra Arkestra, Henry Flynt, Peter Brotzmann, Kan Mikami, Otomo Yoshihide, Josephine Foster, Phill Niblock, Marshall Allen, Joe McPhee, Jandek, Evan Parker, Satchiko M, Toshimaru Nakamura, Tetsuya Umeda, Christian Marclay, Louis Moholo-Moholo and many more! Café Oto comprises of one large cafe/performance space open during the day serving food and drink with an evening programme of live music almost seven nights a week. The Cafe is open every day serving a selection of teas, coffees, organic fruit juices, ginger beers, Devon and Breton cider, Pitfield real ales, wines, beers, Japanese snacks, Sake, Shochu, Awamori, Plum Wine, and Japanese Whisky etc.
Saturday & Sunday: We close the cafe at 5:30pm for soundcheck and re-open at 8pm for concerts. Getting There: Overground & East London Line There are two overground stations very close to Cafe Oto including the new East London Line. Dalston is well served for buses from all-over London . The following buses stop nearby: 30, 38, N38, 67, 76, 149, N149, 56, 277 & 242. Bicycle There are a limited number of bicycle racks opposite Cafe OTO.
