The Oval Cricket Ground

Home > Sports Venues > The Oval Cricket Ground

The Oval is the home ground of Surrey County Cricket Club, and also traditionally hosts the final Test match of each English summer season in late August or early September. The Oval was the first ground in the United Kingdom and second in the world (after the Melbourne Cricket Ground) to host Test cricket.

Food & Drink
The Oval offers a variety of catering opportunities on major match days. Oval Events are committed to enhancing what was on offer last year around the ground and making your cricketing experience a truly memorable one.

If you would like to enjoy the cricket in true style and indulge in one of the Hampers on the day they are available for purchase for the npower Test Match and NatWest One Day International matches. Each hamper includes a continental breakfast, a freshly prepared salad for lunch along with dessert as well as a cream tea. The hamper also includes ¼ bottle of red and white wine and mineral water.
