Shakespeare's Globe is a faithful reconstruction of the open-air playhouse designed in 1599 and a unique international resource dedicated to the exploration of Shakespeare's work and the playhouse for which he wrote. Through education and performance, the Globe Theatre Company, Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition and Globe Education together realise this vision.
Experience today's working theatre and visit Bankside, the Soho of Elizabethan London. Shakespeare’s Globe is a faithful reconstruction of the open-air playhouse designed in 1599 where many of Shakespeare’s plays were performed.
Theatre-goers can also combine their ticket with the Exhibition Tour.
