Eurostar travels at 186mph on the UK’s first high-speed rail line, and carries over 7million passengers each year to and from London and the two stations in Kent (Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International).
Eurotunnel provides high-speed car, coach and freight services via the Channel Tunnel between Coquelles (Calais) and Folkestone. Folkestone has good access to the motorway network and London. The approximate channel crossing time is 35 minutes. Return fares start at around £100 per car.
